Oskar Steen is getting another chance in the National Hockey League – and he’s earned it.Steen enjoyed a solid training camp but, with the number of bottom six candidates, the 25-year-old AHL veteran was sent back to Providence after clearing waivers.But he did not pout about it, as so often happens with players who are close to making the cut but wind up getting sent down. A person died after a shooting at Worcester State University early Saturday morning, according to police who are asking for the public’s help in the investigation as the university canceled all events for the day.Police responded to the double shooting at around 2:44 a.m. in the area of a parking garage.Worcester Police and Massachusetts State Police patrols responded to the scene near Wasylean Hall and Sheehan Hall. Two gunshot victims were transported to UMass Medical Center.One of the victims died, and the other underwent surgery, according to Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.Police arrested an individual close to the scene and recovered a gun. DETROIT (AP) — Jeep maker Stellantis has reached a tentative contract agreement with the United Auto Workers union that follows a template set earlier this week by Ford, two people with knowledge of the negotiations said Saturday.The deal, which still has to be ratified by members, leaves only General Motors without a contract with the union.
