The Bills defense in 2023 has faced a torrent of injuries.Von Miller missed the beginning of the season. Defensive lineman DaQuan Jones is on injured reserve currently. Inside linebacker Matt Milano was lost for the year. So, too, was top cornerback Tre’Davious White.Through all of that, though, Buffalo’s defense has retained the ability to impact opposing quarterbacks.The Bills enter Monday night’s game against Denver sixth in the NFL in sack rate (8.3%) and seventh in total pressure rate (26.7%), and they’ve done it thanks to a seemingly endless supply of rushers.Miller is still working back into form through five games after a torn ACL ended his 2022 season; he has yet to record a sack after totaling eight last year. Aurora homicide remains unsolved on 1-year anniversary, police ask public for information

Aurora police asked for the public’s help Sunday in solving a year-old homicide that happened on South Crystal Way.Just after 3 a.m. on Nov. 12, 2022, Aurora police officers responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 900 block of South Crystal Way, according to a Sunday news release from the department.When officers arrived at the scene, they found one man lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound, the news release stated. Some of the finest examples are currently on show at the Foundation Frison Horta in Brussels, writes Nick Powell.Azerbaijan’s Ambassador, Vaqif Sadiqov, said it was a particular pleasure to see such an important part of his country’s cultural heritage on display in a building designed by Victor Horta, one of the founders of the art nouveau movement. In many respects, Dan Rusanowsky is the first San Jose Shark to have a spot in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.Of course, several players who have worn the Sharks uniform are in the Hall, with former San Jose goalie Mike Vernon among the Class of 2023. Former Sharks general manager and captain Doug Wilson was inducted two years ago.But those ex-Sharks players were largely voted in because of their accomplishments with other teams. One person dead after shooting in Vallejo

(KRON) – One person has died in Vallejo after a shooting on Saturday night. Vallejo police responded to a report of a shooting on the 1000 block of Alabama Street on Nov. 11 at approximately 8:30 p.m.  Juvenile shot after Vallejo High School football game Upon the officers’ arrival, they found an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The officers provided medical aid to the victim until medical personnel arrived. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.The Vallejo Police Department Detective Division has taken over the investigation.The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Solano County Coroner's Office.
