Belgium to introduce new crypto ad regulation

Companies sponsoring crypto advertisements in Belgium must submit to its financial regulator FSMA before any campaign, writes Oluwapelumi Adejumo. Belgium’s Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) is set to introduce a new set of crypto ad regulations by 17 May, finance magnates reported on 20 March.Belgium’s Official Gazette published on 17 March showed that the crypto ad must be accurate and contain mandatory risk information.
